City of Croswell Downtown Development Authority (D.D.A.) has decided that for America’s 250th birthday they are sponsoring a decorating contest in the D.D.A. district!
1st place is $150 electric bill credit, 2nd place is $100 electric credit, 3rd place is a $75 electric credit.
To register email the City Clerk and you will be added to the voting link. Businesses are welcome to participate by decorating their store with the most patriotic items. DDA Registration Flyer
Once complete, send in a picture via email or let City Hall know you are ready to have a picture uploaded to the voting link.
Voting will be from July 1st through July 6th. Winners will be notified after the DDA meeting on July 16th.
Each business will be given a QR code to place at the store for patrons to vote. A voting invitation will also be posted on the City website and Facebook Page to allow residents who are unable to get out or scan a code, may also vote. We encourage you to share that link on your own social media for votes.

After school traffic has subsided, Black River Road will be CLOSED from State St. to Sanborn.
Only local traffic will be allowed.
Melvin's construction is complete.
After Black River will be S. Flower - this may occur as early as Tuesday or Wednesday May 26 or 27th.
Following S. Flower will be Ward to Wells for asphalt.


Trash Reminder from Jeff's Rubbish
Please keep in mind for the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday… all routes will be delayed by 1 day.
Make sure your trash is out by 6 AM to avoid being missed or put it out the night before in case trucks run early. We will not turn around for any trash that is not out by 6 AM. If you have questions or concerns, please call the office. The office/truck yard is closed every Saturday.

Please keep in mind that any plans may change with the weather.
There is a meeting tomorrow to give the City another update related to timeframe for paving the road. We thank all of the residents for their ongoing patience & understanding related to these delays and changes.

Croswell Construction Update
Croswell Road Construction will be in 2 parts from Harrington to Mills and then Harrington to M-90.
Harrington to Mills will begin immediately and ALL RESIDENTS are asked to AVOID the area unless absolutely necessary as there may be intermittent work between M-90 and Mills at any time.
Croswell Detour for Harrington Rd to Mills
When they begin the Harrington to M-90 section the area will be open with Flag People to direct traffic. Please anticipate delays and plan for extra time to reach your destination. If you can seek an alternate route like the detour route attached it will help.

Croswell Sanborn Bridge Construction will begin on June 15th and is ESTIMATED to end on September 4th. As updates become available more information will be sent out.
Restoration for lawns from the Fall Construction will be scheduled with Boddy on Tuesday. We appreciate your patience and flexibility with the ever changing schedule of construction to help make improve our town.
